No one is really equipped to evaluate this product on it's quality.The capsules are easy to swallow and do not produce an aftertaste or "burb" for me.One warning: on the product bottle it says:
"Each Carlson NORWEGIAN SALMON OIL soft gels contains 1 gram (1000 mg) of fish oil extracted from salmon and OTHER FISH..."
This seems to contradict the statement in the product description given on Amazon.
That certainly is not he fault of the manufacturer and does not speak negatively to the product quality.

Product Description:
Norwegian Salmon Oil is extracted only from salmon found in the deep, unpolluted waters of Norway. No other fish body oils are included.

Each soft gel contains 1 gram of Norwegian salmon Oil providing 350 mg of total Omega-3 fatty acids consisting of approximately 180 mg of EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), 140 mg of DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), and 30 mg of other Omega-3's.

Natural Vitamin E is added to preserve the freshness of the salmon oil in the substantial amount of 10 IU per capsule in the form of d-alpha tocopherol.

The salmon live in the deep arctic waters near Norway, which are some of the cleanest waters in the world. Independent laboratory tests have found Carlson Salmon Oil to be free of detectable levels of contaminants including: mercury, cadmium, lead and 29 pesticides.

Low in cholesterol (less than 5 mg per soft gel). Low in Vitamin A (less than 500 IU per soft gel).

Each soft gel contains only fish oil protected with Vitamin E. No preservative, sweeteners, salt,colors of flavors are added.
