(More customer reviews)I started taking fish oil for the benefits, but knew it was a mess and a nasty taste. I looked at how many pills I'd need to take to achieve my dose, and groaned. So I decided it'd be easier to try to swallow the liquid which came out to only a few milliliters.
It worked out at first, but eventually the orange and the lemon flavored got old. I tried both and I couldn't keep it up. I even spilled the bottle a couple times, and it was not fun to clean up. I needed to use pet odor remover eventually to get the smell out which smells of fish if left out.
I drank the fish oil by syringle, drank a liquid to chase it, and often chewed on gummy bears to remove the flavor. It worked for a few months, but realistically, the pills may have been the better idea. I did not really have many fish burps with this brand of fish oil, especially if I ate food with the oil.
If you need an alternative, I suggest eating Flaxseed itself, or flaxseed oil. It is not a perfect alternative, and is more ALA potent, but do your research and decide. I currently grind flaxseed raw and put it in cerael.
