(More customer reviews)I bought this product for two reasons: my health nut friend just did a lot of research on the lack of omega 3's in our diets and said we need to do something (thanks, HP) and 2)I'm in menopause and it was marketed to help with hot flashes and associated symptoms. I believe it is a good supplement for the former and not for the latter. At least, other supplements seem to be much more effective for alleviating menopausal symptoms. However effective it might be at provided some much needed omega 3's, I must say the odor involved in taking the softgels is very off putting. I don't think I will buy it again if there is an equal supplement that has been able to prevent the odor from escaping the capsule. I think this supplement is very high quality and fresh. I do not experience fish burps with them. The only problem is holding my nose just to get the capsules down the hatch. OK, that and the fact the red dye in the softgels comes off on whatever it touches! :/
