(More customer reviews)Omega-3 Mood presents 1,000 mg of EPA from fish oil, unfortunately the gelcaps that surround this oil are too large to actually swallow. If they were half the size (even if that required twice as many), everyone could use this product, not just people with large necks.
Best advice is to buy only one, and if you find that they are too large for you, contact the manufacturer via the website on the label. If enough people ask, they may come out with a smaller gelcap that everyone can successfully swallow.
I've tried breaking open the capsules and drinking the oil inside, but this may not be convenient as the oil tends to coat one's mouth, it smells like fish, and the manufacturer cautions that the oil may burn -- though I believe the oil is no more acidic than salad dressing.
Update: I've successfully swallowed these now, with water. The trick, told to me by a doctor friend, is that you should not tilt your head up as you'd expect. Rather, you should, if anything, tilt your head slightly down as you gulp. This works, though I'd still appreciate smaller gelcaps.
